If I add a certain amount of money to my account and hold my bank account/Visa debit card on file, will this help with my credit score?
Will this show up on my credit report?
What if I have the money market option?

Working for PayPal, I can assure you that having a PayPal account will not improve your credit score. However, if your PayPal account goes negative for an extended period of time (usually over 120 days) then PayPal will likely report your account to a third party collections agency who can affect your credit score in a negative way. On the plus side though, if you apply for PayPal Buyer Credit, which is a virtual line of credit attached to your PayPal account, will be reported to the credit bureaus just like any other credit card.

Nope. Paypal does not extend credit, its basically the same as a prepaid credit card or savings account. Since your not making payments to them via a credit agreement, it does not count and is not turned into the credit buera's.
Your best bet to get your credit score higher is to get on one of the cousiling programs that help you budget to pay off your debts.

I think it could help. Pay pal could show up as opening up a bank account. I am not sure about paypal but i do know the more bank accounts you open with more banks the better it is for your credit score.

Nope this will not show up as an account. Sorry. I you want a card that will show up on your credit bureau, you need to either have a unsecured credit card or a secured credit card in good standing.
