unknown pso payment on my natwest account?

hi a payment has come up on my online bank statement today for £49 to an unknown pso and i have not use my card recently. I am worried because this £49 was taken out of my account as soon as a transaction cleared from my NS&I account for £50, leaving me with £1 left on my debit card! could this be fraud? a bank mishap?

Call the bank Natwest are always super helpful!

It sounds as if the payment could have been made sometime ago, but was held until there were enough finds in the account to allow the payment to be made. Only the bank can really answer your question - though if pso means what I suspect it means I can understand your reticence about contacting them.

You need to contact your Bank asap! As the money was taken as soon as the £50 cleared, it could be some sort of automatic payment that you have, (however unwittingly), authorised. Contact the Bank!!
