if UK scoring is from 0 to 1000 and you are 999 then I think your credit score is fantastic, you will definitely be approve with the best interest rate available, congrats!!!

The score is only part of the factor. Your lender might prefer people of a certain age, or in a certain area, or whatever. However that's a good credit score, and providing you can supply 3 years' worth of addresses for the check, you will probably be okay.

However, lenders vary, and with the current climate there are no guarantees.

You Experian credit score will only be useful if the lender uses Experian of course! Most of the majors do though...

Oh - there's no 'max' score ... it generally ranges 0-1000, but can go higher.

Good for you man!...That's a sweet score for real. You'll have lenders eating out of the palm of your hand.....BUT make sure in addition to that score you have income to compliment it. You'll definetly get primus minus about 5-10 points. Depends on the bank/lender you deal with. With such a good score I'd shop around first...check the bank you're dealing wih now and see what they have to offer....don't settle for just prime.

I guess you have are aware of all the issues regarding mortgages at the moment, so a lot depends on you and your circumstances - ie age and salary and what other expenses you have - other loans etc.
